Have started looking for apps to make using Twitter easier. First one I really like is TwitterFox. It's great to be able to see when someone has sent us a message or mentioned me. Only thing is I save Icon shortcuts to my desktop constantly, so I use IE8 most of the time. I'll have to find a FF app to do that, then I'll be a very happy Tweeter.

Edit: Apparently, there's only one, but I found it. It's called deskCut and it works.

Tweetdeck is slick, but for me, TwitterFox works best because it stays down in the corner as I use the web. I can keep track of posts, mentions and Direct Messages, and post myself, anytime I have the browser open (which is many hours a day!). I cherish anything that let's me do 2 things at once.

Has anybody signed up for the apps that offer you thousands of followers and the ability to make money using twitter?

Ive looked at a couple but dont really want my twitter box full of idiots just trying to sell me things I dont want, ya know?

I think a tasteful link to ones selling site or 3 or 4 a day is sufficient, but Id like to have more than my 117 tweeters following me.

Let me tell you, when I tweet my Bonanzle.com items on Tiwtter, I get many more hits than when I dont… so it works for exposure!  I want them to follow me, not too sure I want to follow thousands… I'm prob asking the impossible.

Anyone have any thioughts on this?
