I would describe collectors, as people who have lifelong learning skills, love history, enjoy investigating independently, learn in unorthodox fashion, enjoy an unstructured but orderly environment, and finally naturally put pieces and puzzles into place.
Their natural skills are computers, make superb lawyers, critics, secretaries, treasurers, librarians, craftsman, psychologists, reporters, excellent sub-editors, doctors, chemists, and forensic investigators.
A collector has the quiet tenacity of a pit bull. They take offence rarely and are aloof and often socially awkward but will if genuinely passionate follow an issue like a leather winged demon to the bitter end. They prefer to be swans in relationships but have eclectic passions. They are methodical in chess and the game of bridge. Many are dyslexic or had high IQ's that were not nurtured or developed formally.
They use extravagant verbiage and colorful metaphors as they see language as a constructed tool that can be juxtaposed or artfully managed. They are active listeners and have a natural ability at truth semantics.
