We've dealt a lot with bonanzle and ebay - but how about TIAS? Any success stories out there?

I've been with TIAS since 2002.  It was pretty user friendly for setting up my two sites (I'm not the most tech-savvy).  Sales have been surprisingly good this year even with the sour economy.  The more time you can invest, the better.

I'm looking forward to our interview b/c that's one site we really haven't explored a ton. What is the fee structure there?

Per the TIAS.com site:

  • If you're not quite certain certain of your commitment to keeping an online store, you'll want to try our month-to-month plan for $39.95 per month minimum fee.  If your total sales for one month on TIAS.com result in a monthly commission fee paid to TIAS.com that is greater than $39.95, you pay just the commission that is due.  No other additional fees will apply.

  • If you are confident that you want a web store, we  offer an economical one-year contract with sharply reduced billing rate but a 12-month committment.  Under this play, if your total sales for one month on TIAS.com result in a monthly commission fee paid to TIAS.com that is less than $34.95, you will be required to pay TIAS.com a minimum monthly fee of $34.95.  If your total sales for one month on TIAS.com result in a monthly commission fee paid to TIAS.com that is greater than $34.95, you pay just the commission that is due.  No other additional fees will apply.

I look forward to our interview.  I just love your episodes! Smile

I forgot to mention, TIAS.com cut me a break on the second site (my second site is on Earthling.com).  I don't know what promotions they offer now.  They have four different online malls, each tailored to work with what items you sell.  I believe one has a higher monthly rate but no commission fees.  I love having the two sites because I have my antiques and collectibles on TIAS.com and my newer items on Earthling.com Smile

And don't forget Phil Davies, the owner himself was featured on episode 6 :)
