My great grandmother purchased the umbrella girl and then decided that she wanted to find the matching boy as well.  She went into the hummels store and she saw the umbrella boy.  She told the owner she wanted to buy it but found out that it was the artist's copy.  She went back to the store and kept raising her price and finally convinced the artist to sell her copy of the umbrella boy.
