I have come into possession by way of inheritance what appears to be a Land Warrant to 200 acres of land in Chester County PA. It is an original, one of a kind - written by William Penn, signed by James Logan, Griffith Owen, and Edward Shippen. It still bears the original ribbon and seal. It is in excellant condition and is still quite readable - the seal however is cracking though 80% is intact. I will send pictures via private email to anyone who is interested. UPDATE: This item has been confirmed to an original Land Patent, not a warrant, and it is signed by James Logan, Griffith Owen, and Edward Shippen. It was produced by the Land Office in PA and is mirofilmed and recorded at the Harrisburgh State archives as Item:
It is recorded in Patent Book A-4, pages 214-15, at the State Archives in Record Group 17 (see: http://www.phmc.state.pa.us/ba…..g/rg17.htm).
