As someone that sells via the auction method mostly at live online and offline auctions, I'm always interested in finding out what's selling well in other parts of the country.

I'm in MA, and right now, coins are great, sterling silver and gold of course are high. Good paper and ephemera, as well as antique books are doing well.

Glassware has been pretty slow.

Furniture has been almost dead for the last couple of years, but is starting to come back. Art Modern furniture is very spotty, sometimes it's great, other times you can't give it away. No rhyme or reason to it.

Victorian furniture is starting to come back, but I'm seeing Colonial furniture as still slow.

What about you?

I've actually found that depression era “elegant” glass has been doing pretty nicely for me. Stuff like this :-)

@Tammy, yeah, although I've found glass to be slow overall. It is the better pieces of glass that are selling well. As you've pointed out, elegant glass, ABP glass and even some moder Art glass.

Seeing prices for mediocre depression glass and kithen glass at kind of a standstill though.

It's a hodge podge here in East Tennessee.  Stuffed animals are always a favorite but this month jewelry and vintage toys have picked up.  About the time I think I know what the consumer wants, they do a 180 on me. Wink
