Just curious to know from both sellers & collectors what is preferred or being sold when it comes to the older Hummels in comparison to the newer ones and these 'Berta Hummel' figurines that are out now. All of the Bertha Hummel I have seen are not made in Germany. 

I am a purist, to an extent, I suppose and prefer the older figurines. My Mom on the other hand loves 'the little ones' as she calls them, which are the club member ones that she gets. I think it's just so she can get more in that china cabinet. I personally don't want any of the nonGerman made figurines and neither does my Mom. That is one thing we agree on. Hopefully we both argee on who inherits her Hummels too
