I am currently trying to help a friend value and sell off some of her possessions. She has been fighting cancer for the past year and is trying to get her house in order.
One item she inherited from her mother is a very old Hummel figurine. I believe it's called “Stormy Weather” - a little boy and girl under an umbrella. I looked at the marks on your site and didnt see the mark on the bottom of her figurine. Could you please help determine the year it was made and a possible value? It has a large V with a detailed bee inside, an (R) mark to the right of the V, and Germany below the V. Not W.Germany. It also has a number 71 stamped into the porcelain. And, possibly the number 33.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated - time is of the esscence.
Thank You!

hi! could you inspect the peice and see if there are any cracks in the glaze or any repairs? Also which trademark (TMK) does it match the best http://www.vintagerarestuff.co…..ating.html

You're probably looking at between $100 and $200 but condition will matter :) By the way that is an auction estimate. I'd put it on ebay if i were you, start the bidding around $50 and let the market ride it up. If you know someone with some feedbacks will do better than if you just put it up with zero feedbacks.
