Can anyone help with identifying - and with pricing - a pair of cast white glass top hats?  I don't know if these are for sweet dishes …or what?

I was told they were collectibles from the Us when I was given them by my brother, but he did not know any more than that.

They measure just over 8 cms high, and about 12 cms across at the widest point.

Thanks for reply, Tammy - no, nothing unfortunately.  The bottom is the same small criss-cross texture as the sides.
