Hello!  I would like to find out what the value is for some beautiful Austrian porcelain I own. I have not been able to locate any similar patterns and one piece in particular is signed E. Welcher and dated 1913, in Gold. Most of the prints are Eggshell Blue with Forget-Me-Nots and Hand-Painted in Gold all around the edges. Some pieces are also monogrammed.

Tammy, for some reason I'm unable to insert any of the pics I sent you via email. Would you be able to add them here?

** EDITED** HERE ARE PHOTOS

Thank you!

Hi! I just posted the pictures. They are a bit blurry so it's going to be tough but hopefully Linda Kruger of Collectorsinfo will be able to help!  I'm working on fixing the picture upload to upload directly but right now it has to be hosted somewhere to post here :)
Best,

Tammy

We'd love to try to help, but we need more info. Your images of the marks are too blurry. Any chance you can provide clearer images? Also, please tell us what pieces you have, if you know their use. Thanks!      -Linda

The one w/ a hole looks like a hair receiver… “During the Victorian Period, the hair receiver was commonly found on a  woman’s vanity.  After brushing her hair, she would remove the hair from the brush and  place it through the opening of the receiver for storage.”

I will try to take some better pictures of the watermarks and send to Tammy to load them.  I can tell you for sure that there are some that say:

MZ Austria

Vienna, Austria (with 2 crests and a crown, I think)

Germany (with a watermark that has 3 symbols)

France (with a watermark shaped like a triangle with designs around and within the triangle)

I think one other may be Rosenthale (R with an X and a G with a crown above it)

I'm not sure what the appropriate name or title is for each piece.  The set includes (all monogrammed):

1 large tray

1 small tray

2 small holders with lids

1 candle holder

1 holder with a lid (opening/hole in lid)

1 holder with lid

 Thank you- Helen

Tammy,

I just sent you 2 emails with additional pics (watermarks).  I hope you are able to use some of them.  I tried to get the watermarks as clear as possible.  I may have to obtain another camera to get better pics.  Will you please take a look at the additional pics and see if you can load any of them?

Thank you,

Helen

In the future- just upload them to flickr.com instead of sending them to me and this way you can post the links directly :)  i'm sorry for some reason they aren't downloading but i opened them all and sadly they're pretty much just as blurry :(

I would try using the flash and standing a bit to the side so you can take it on an angle…

I should be able to take some better pic's of the watermarks within the next couple of days.  Once I do this, I will load them to Flickr.  If there's anyone that can help determine the value of my items, I would greatly appreciate it.  I am very interested in selling - Helen

O.K.  I've added a bunch more pics to Flickr and some of the watermarks are definitely more legible.  Here is the link:

R and G.  I did a little bit of research and I believe this stands for Rosenthal Germany
