I would like to know the value of a pair of meissen figurines. I got them a while ago and did some research and could not tell how old they are. There are marks ”10185 Germany” on the bottom of the figures. There are a gentaleman with flowers in his hand in blue jacket ,  pink pants and red shoes. The lady is also in blue top, yellow skirt, pink inside, red shoes with a red fan in her left hand. I really wish someone could tell me something about them. I was not able to upload the image.

Thanks.

Hello, Meissen has a long and prestigious history going back 300 years.  Over that time they have produced a myriad of figures as you have described.  I would note that the Meissen mark has never to my knowledge included a five digit code and the word Germany.  In general, porcelain marked with the country of origin dates to the 20th century.  If you are able to email me images or post them I can give you some more definitive answers.

Regards,
Jorge
