Tammy, I enjoy these collectible corner episodes.
My comment/question is: I bought a pair of glass vases about 15 years ago. I was told they might be “Nash”. They are not signed. I haven’t been able to find much information about Nash, other than they weren’t in business very long. Can you provide some information about this company. I would especially like to know where I can go to see more examples of Nash glass.

    Thank you,
    Leslie

  2. Hi Tammy,
Love the show. It’s not necessary to travel to Venice to see glass blowing. Check out the Corning Glass Works in Corning, New York. They have wonderful shows and glass items on display representing centuries of glass work.
    Thanks for the show, Trieva

“Identification marks, letters, and numbers were engraved on Nash glass at the time the pontil marks were ground smooth in the cutting shop. At first, the initials “A.D.N.A.” were used; after the firm was incorporated, the mark was changed to “Nash”. Letters usually referred to the color of the object, and numerals to its size.”

Trieva: Thanks for the tip! Is there a web site?
