Tammy Kahn Fennell

Tammy Kahn Fennell was born in Oceanside, NY where she lived with her mother, father, sister and dog.. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where it was very cold, but luckily there was plenty of beer to keep a person warm.

About four years ago, Tammy came in to her dad’s office to help with a few computer issues, and it turned out to be a long-time gig!

Matthew Fennell

Matthew Fennell was born in Cheltenham, England. He lived with both parents, his brother, sister, and a multitude of pets.

Matthew went to college in Newcastle, England for Sports Science, and spent a few summers working at a sleep-away camp in New York. It was at this camp that he met one of Tammy’s best friends, and one February, when Tammy was studying in London, her friend visited her, and Matthew visited the friend. The rest, as they say, is history. Within a couple of years Matthew moved to America, and worked at a gym.

He eventually grew tired of the life of a fitness instructor, and wanted something new. He came to Bakertowne to help out, temporarily, but he, too, turned it into a full time gig!

Lou Kahn

Lou Kahn was born in New York City, a long time ago ;-). He moved around between Manhattan and Brooklyn, but spent his teenage years in Borough Park.

Lou met his wife, Ingrid, at a party for a mutual friend. She noticed him at this housewarming party: the boyfriend of the friend brought in a small, tasteful plant as a gift for the housewarming and Lou showed up with an enormous spider plant. They dated and were engaged six months later.

Following their move to Long Island, Lou joined Ingrid’s father’s company, “The Bakertowne Co, Inc.” He remained there for over 25 years. He is now the President of Bakertowne Valley, Inc.
